If I am taking online criminal justice courses at one Technical college, can I go to another Technical college for a degree in Crime Scene Investigation? In other words, can I go to two technical colleges at once? How does it work?

Yes, you can go to both. You will only receive one Associate Degree, though. You can get certificates for the other subjects that you study. You will have to decide which of those schools you would want to get your degree from, then get a transcript from each college you attend and turn it into the one you want your degree from. It's a lot easier to just go to the same school, though, so that you are sure that all the courses you take will satisfy graduation requirements.

A warning, though...make sure the online school is accredited to award college degrees. They need to be accredited by an agency that is recognized by the US Department of Education, or else your coursework will not mean a thing.

Some schools may have rules about full time students and whether they are permitted to do courses at other schools, work full time, etc. while also a full time student at their school. However, if one course is an on line course and one is at a bricks and mortar school, I don't see how it could be a problem. As long as you pay your fees I don't think there will be a problem. The problem would arise if you found that you were over-extended and unable to keep up with the work for both programs.

Are you planning to take the entire degree from each college, or just courses? Make sure which ever college you want to graduate from accepts the other's credits or, if you are planning to graduate from both that you have the time and there will not be scheduling conflicts or work overload. The colleges do not have to coordinate with each other if you enrolled in each separately. You are free to enroll in as many colleges as will take you and your money.
