Ok, if we're getting technical then, In 1953, Elvis decided to make a record, mainly because he was curious to hear what his voice would sound like on record. Elvis paid a fee of around $4 to the Memphis Recording Service studio, home of the Sun Records label, and later to become far better known as Sun Studio. Presley recorded two songs: 'My Happiness' and 'That's When Your Heartaches Begin'.
Later on his first "debut song" was That's All Right Mama
