Girls become lesbians because they can't find a man that they can depend on, and are more attracted to females then male. It's just genetics.

Of course there are those who say they were born that way. But, as psychologists have long demonstrated, there are stages of our life when we identify and step through what we are. Some folks don't step the way others think they should, but it doesn't really start setting up until in puberty.
Lesbians, to a demonstratably greater degree than male homosexuals, have often been hurt by males, sometimes important males in their lives. It isn't a solid rule, but when other females become such a comfort that it also becomes linked to arrousal, then they could be fixed upon looking to females to satisfy that arrousal connection. It is more complicated, as aren't we all, but that is part, a common part, of the picture.
