If I want to read about Marriage, I go to a Marriage section. Divorce, I'd go to a Divorce section. It's like yahoo is saying marriage always ends in divorce. That or that they are closely alike. They aren't! 2 separate issues! Who agrees that you would like to see these two things split into their own sections?

I too believe it should be separate topics. It seems like they are telling us that if you are married you will eventually get a divorce. I with you on this point.

I don't agree, divorce is a part of marriage...And acutally they are a lot alike. Both are contracts and agreements. IN one you contract/agree to share your lives only for one another. In the other you have come to a point that for whatever reasons you can no longer share your lives only for one another. What about Marriage/Widowhood?

Well, some of us have seen both sides of this topic. We may be able to help someone through a difficult time with a divorce-even though we may have remarried. After all we have been there, too.

I agree with you, and I get really tired of people giving advice to couples who are having some conflicts in their marriage that they should just end it instead of trying to work through those conflicts.

Merry Christmas

I don't take it that marriage ends in divorce...you're being much too literal.

It's just a category...it means nothing.

I completely agree. These should be two different topics.
