must have left their finger on the key to long and didnt use spellcheck

I think it just means the key was stuck and they were too lazy to fix it. About 99% of people on the internet suffer from lazy spelling. Yet nobody does a thing about it.

It means either they are too lazy to spellcheck their words, or they are trying to add stress/emphasis to the word by drawing it out: "It is sooooo cold."

I think you might mean....fight or flight. This is a basic instinct in humans and animals. To save our lives or to just surrive a challenge we either choose to stand up and fight or we turn and run.........which would be flight.
We do it all the time.
