It's awfully expensive, and I'm wondering how long it lasts. I'm also wondering if it is harmful to the paint.

This is a polish on the paint, not an undercoating. They treat the paint so you don't have to wax, and also treat the glass with something....

modern cars already have undercoating

Don't so it. It's a rip off. Honestly, you can protect your car just as good with a $6 bottle of NuFinish. Or find yourself a reputable detailer and he'll do just as good or even better for 1/4 of the dealer's price.

Dont let the dealer sucker you into paying for any of that stuff. None of it has any value. They make a lot of $$$$ and you get nothing in return.
