My father had darker features: black hair, dark dark brown eyes (almost black) with
WHEAT-colored SKIN. BUT HE'S CAUCASIAN!
My mother is a brunette, medium frame, slanted eyes (single eyelids), wheat skin, HIGH cheekbones and a square chin.
AND SHE'S CAUCASIAN!
I've inhereted their features and I look ASIAN. People keep asking me if I'm Asian or mixed! What should I do!?

first off, how rude for someone to ask something like that anyway! You sound beautiful. lucky you! I would say play up your exotic features. that cross cultral look is really in so go with it. I would maybe add some blonde highlights into your hair, depending on age and profession you could do a light weave all over or a few panels in front that are more dramatic. Sometimes breaking up a darker color can help show the pretty eyes and skin you have and not just a veil of dark hair.

There's no harm in people thinking your Asian. People have confused my ethnicity. I've been caled Hispanic and Indian whem im just mixed [white&black]. Just tell them calmly you're not Asian but could possibly have very little in you just to get them to leave you alone say "probably like 2%" lol. =)

1. That's a pretty rude question; I'd ask them why they wanted to know. If they respond, "Just curious!" I'd ask them how much money they make or how much they weigh...just curious!
2. It sounds like it really bothers you. It shouldn't; why is it such an issue? Is it the fact that they're asking or because you don't want to be perceived as being Asian?

What's wrong with looking like an asian? Most asians are pretty. Like Tila Nguyen. Go to a tanning bed.

Saying you look asian isnt saying your ugly. Im irish, spanish, and indian mixed. I get asked the same thing all the time. Who cares?

im sorry 2 know that! people are sometimes soooo ignorant. anyways, just say, nope, i am American...Caucasian..whatever. smile as you say it and be proud of who you are. then, if they keep asking, just say i have a mix of features from my parents or something? just be happy with who you are. also, talk to your parents! sometimes that will help too.
