I don't think love is the right word, therefore I don't agree with the saying. I'm not sure what word I would use, but I can tell you why I don't think love is the right one...
Love is not just a feeling; not a tingling sensation, not a light-headedness, or even a warmness come over you. That might best be attributed to infatuation (lust) - which MIGHT lead down the road to love... Love requires actions, not just words or feelings.
True love is a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I choose to love my wife, my kids, people with whom I come in contact. To believe love cannot be avoided (such as "falling in love") or that love can only happen with "the one" thereby cheapens the very idea. How special is love if you can't help it? How much is it worth if you have no control over it?
Now, flip the coin - how much more meaning does love have in knowing it's a choice to be devoted and committed to each other?
If that choice is being made every day, love does not pass with time...

NO, love does not pass with time. Love passes with ... absence of love.
This is not a joke, there is no clear definition for love but love does not just consist in contemplating its object. And true love never passes, but it can die by the default of ailments like communication, fidelity, etc. On the other hand, love does not have to become an habit, or it flies away.
Got it ? I'm married for more than 20 years now ...

. Time is what it quite is for that 2nd of time. we've options of what to do with those moments of time. To be to blame or irresponsible with time is as much as the guy(s) Love is undying. true love does not "make" something or every person do something. Sharing time with a family members member. Valuing that factor it ought to sense there's no longer sufficient time in day (time passing rapidly). Or valuing that factor the time feels to pass slowly at the same time as savoring being interior the 2nd (time passing slowly). Time and love do no longer exchange. How people tend to that love or time is what outcomes the "thoughts" or thought in touch in that factor. there is basically " Now ". true love is consistantly there yet no longer observed of it quite is finished fee via some. .

With love you can conquer everything, just wait until
you replace love in the above sentence with greed
and lust, then you have a problem................................
You need to look at love differently, people love different
things about different people......Lust can be a component
of love......But, making love needs to be an emotional thing
before any lust enters a relationship......or you will not have
anything, friendship has to be tempered with love as well.....
If you do not have both your relationships are doomed to fail....
Ownership can become a vehicle of lust, but not of love
if you love someone, you will understand their needs, not
only your own....Selfishness is not wanting to be loved and
be someone, but the inability of someone who lusts after
being you.......to love....................................................................
The lock on everyones heart has a key, which very few
people that you meet can get hold of...........................................
Not every relationship ends with time, time is supposed to age
and solidify a relationship, not smash it on the rocks...................
Love, Love, Love.....
Maybe the Kama Sutra coupled with that love...............................
but now this is a naughty thought...................................................

lust is a pretty good word, but how about friendship, but then if it is real friendship many times even if it passes or goes away for a while it is still there or comes back so I don't know?

"nothing!"
With nothing time passes; time passes with nothing. We think we do some things but it is not really true. Every time we think, we are doing something but not doing it like "LOVE". Only maybe it can be said that we are doing negative things like "FIGHT." Fight can be nothing but an absence(nothing) of organization-agreeing.
With time nothing passes, we think it passes. Negative things in this like "PAIN" does not pass with time.
I accept the time as a something relative so when I did something really right with TRUE understanding; time is not even there! When simple issues concern me; then time appears.
With nothing time passes; with time really nothing passes.

I think it is true in some cases but as a meaniful saying it makes assumptions that everyone feels and loves in the same way.

the first phrase is correct however the second one is wrong...if it is trully love then that love will grow and mature to be better..so my answer to your follow up question is, I will change the word "passes" to "gets better". keep loving and share the fun!
