Focus on one LV monster you want to do. Don't try to combine Horus and Armed Dragon because they're Dragons and the same goes for Silent Swordsman and Mystic Swordsman. Also, know that you don't need every LV. When I play with Horus I only use LV 6 and LV8, LV4 is too weak to be very useful. Note: Horus LV6 and Silent Swordsman LV5 are unaffected by Spells and so cards like Swords of Revealing Light and Lightning Vortex don't affect them. Remember that when you're playing. :o)

The best way to make a powerful Level Deck is to make sure the cards that you put in it compliment which Level monsters you are planning on using. The most common is to combine a few like combining Mystic Swordsman with Silent Swordsman. Another one would be combining Horus with Armed Dragons. But the other cards in the deck should help them out....like Level Up! and Level Modulation. Or others cards like Dragon's Rage and Dragon Breath if you are running a Dragon Type Level Deck. I myself have my own Dragon Level Deck and it is quite fun. If needed email me and I can give you the exact list of what is in mine.

It depends on which level monster you want to use. Try to work with the deck's strengths. For example, if you're using Horus, add in some Royal Decrees to compliment Horus' spell negation. Other good cards for a Horus deck are Rush Recklessly and Shrink (if you can get your hands on one). These help the weaker incarnations of Horus take down bigger monsters in order to make it easier to activate the level up effect. This decktype would have less traps than most other decks, but you can make up for that using defensive quickplay spell cards like Enemy Controller. I hope this helps as a reference for whatever level deck you decide to make!

it's not all about powerful card in the deck. Just having the right kind of cards to utilize your style, are you moreof a trapster, spell card user. I could give you over a hundred hints that could help. Here's something i DO reccomend though. Shonen Jump the magazine that sponsers the card game has hints on new cards. How to use them best way to use them in every issue they put out you can get it as a hastings. or bookstore. Even walmart if i'm correct. Sometimes you'll get cards that are only available through the magazine as well. Very goodhints AND strategies. But ultimately it just boils down yo trial and error with a deck recipe.
