Well, I have Virgin Mobile pay-as-you go. I think that for a 13 year old that would be the best choice, because you put in as much money as you think you are going to use, and you can choose between three different plans depending on how much the phone will be used. Also, the phones are pretty reasonably priced.

Honestly, I don't think a 13-year-old is responsible enough to own a cellphone. Think about it... It's a $100+ piece of electronic equipment. Would you let your child run around with a $100 bill? Assuming you trust her not to spend it, wouldn't you be worried about her losing it or having it stolen?

Tell her to use the home phone, and if you'd really feel better about her having a phone when she's out, let her borrow yours, or give her a quarter to use a payphone.

If you insist on getting your child a phone, Virgin Mobile is the best and the most helpful if you have trouble with it. Get a Pay-As-You-Go phone, 'cause that way she won't waste a ton of money.

T-mobile has a good plan for kids its the kid connect plan and the minimum minutes are 50 per months and its free mobile to mobile and when the 50 minutes finish you wont pass so its a good kid plan.
the plan won't let you pass more than 50 minutes but you can still call t-mobile phones

wow,.. 13 year olds?

When i was that young and was in trouble, i called collect (down the center!!! remember that comercial!!!!) i guess time has change.

But knowing kids with cell phones, mean expensive bills, I would go for a familly pack with free incoming/outgoing between providers.

Verizon. Free in calling. Best coverage in the most places.

optimal hospitals(a minimum of around suited right here) will only show you how to volunteer as quickly as you're a CNA. you would be waiting to volunteer, yet without training you would be cleansing low-threat components.
