When you apply for a marriage license in Nevada and you are a widow must you provide a copy of the death certificate? On the website I looked at it only stated what you needed if you were divorced.

Got married in Las Vegas, NV. about 11 years now, but going through separation/divorce right now. NO, you dont need a death certificate to show that you are a widow..I dont think so, but to make sure, bring it with you some of the questions there in the application ask for ,If this is your 1st marriage...

take the death certificate with you, just in case.

I would think you would have to take it for proof that your husband passed but not sure so just take it just in case so you wont have to make a second trip....
