In recent Japan,
this kind of question is called as "釣り", fishing a fish(answers/poeple).

Based on the strength of the military forces in Soviet Union, Nazi Germany could have been dominant.

Nazi Germany once succeeded in invading Soviet Union and reached to a city, away from some 10km from Moscow that is the capital of Soviet Union, though Nazi was beaten as a result.

Japan succeeded in invading Soviet Union and got some regions before the war,

However not so strong to eliminate all Soviet governments or politics totally. Far Eastern Republic was returned in 1922.
Soviet Union held a non-freezing ice free sea-ports during the war.
Soviet Union did not start the war with Japan until 8th Aug 1945, a few days after the atomic bomb fallen at Hiroshima.
Soviet Union invaded ex-Japanese territory(where Japan invaded) as a result.

Which area do you think has more military forces in Soviet Union ?
1 - Around the capital Moscow and its western area

Wow tough question it could go either way. Take out the question of air superiority and I think Nazi Germany would have rolled right over Japan. However, with the Luftwaffe and the Imperial Air Force in the picture, the answer isn't so clear......

Very good question. Germany had pretty good technology, but Japan had religious zeal on their side. Unless Germany came up with the atomic bomb, I think it would have ended in a stale mate. The thing that has helped Britain all these centuries has been the English Channel. Japan would have had that advantage as well.

I think Japan would have been too costly to overrun.
Heck, even the US decided not to try it and went with the bomb instead.

Both had similar populations, both lacked natural resources especially oil. Germany was ahead more technologically.

At sea or the Islands, Japan. On the continent, Germany. Overall......Germany. But it would be close.

Who attacked who.

Neither would win but the one that attacked first would do the most damage

They are to far apart & too many countries in between to carry on a war & win.

The Germans were better armed, trained, and had the better equipment. They would have defeated Japan. However, Hitler needed natural resources such as coal and oil as well as gas, and he didn't. Thus he was handicapped in his strategies to win the war.

Chow!!
