Laura Secord is probably best know today for the chocolate company that bears her name, but she more important as a Canadian heroine during the War of 1812. She is known as Canada's Paul Revere.

There's a ton of information on Wikepedia and elsewhere. Just type laura secord in the Yahoo search box and you can learn all about her. There is also a famous Canadian brand of chocolates named in her honor (Laura Secord chocolate) -- in fact it is more than just chocolates, it is a candy store franchise, so in one way or another, her influence is still being felt.

If you mean "what job" as in their importance, she saved the Brits during the War of 1812. She over heard American officers discussing plans to attack a British fort (at Beaver Dams or something I think...) She trekked by foot through miles of thick forest to inform the British/Canadian forces of the planned attack in time for them to successfully repel the American invaders. Hope this helps, -Matt

yes I know her all two well, shes the evil sister of Laura the first, dont make eye contact with her, her history is just as chilling, she was left alone as a baby and raised her self. she was feeding from a ally cat long ago until she was lod enough to pick garbage, its hard just telling the story
