Concerning American Conservative radio and TV talk shows.?

Why is it whenever either David Frum or Mark Steyn make appearances on conservative talk shows to rant their rant (Steyn especially) they are never identified as being Canadian, not American? Has either even applied for US citizenship yet?

I know for a fact Mr. Frum is proud of his Canadian heritage, even if he has had issues with some Canadians.

Mr Frum discusses his Canadianess in his book about George Bush thoroughly.

Never heard f the other guy.
