I don't think that GOD in the strict religious sense is a great source for justification of gender identities. But speaking more univeraslly everything does seem to have an order to it that makes it run efficiently. Yes there will always be deviations like people with ambiguous genitalia or an extra finger or clift lip or being sexually attracted to their cats or something, but for the most part that order is there to keep what is proven to work working.
As for the gays, I don't think being gay is anything more that a deviation from the norm, that could be caused by some chemical abnormality. If I was born with an extra finger would that fall in or out of god's will. Who knows, all it is, is not the norm. That's it.
Female and male genetals are made for each other obviously that is most efficient. Yes gay sex can cause anal tearing & increased risk of std's but lesbian sex has a lower risk of std transmition when preformed correctly. So what does that mean. It means that biology dictated an ideal but there will always be devialtions for the better or worse.

Genitalia has nothing to do with sexual orientation. In fact male and female are not so very different and it's more a matter of size and layout. If you believe in a god then you either have to accept that he is perfectly happy with his design or somewhere along the way he stuffed up and hasn't been able to put it right.
If god has given us the ability to excercise free will why did he make it so difficult for a gay person, who would genuinly like to be straight, to make the change?

Suppose God designed the universe and that it were reasonable to derive moral do's and don'ts from this design. If researchers found irrefutable scientific evidence that homosexuality is not a choice, it would be hard to see how homosexuality should not be considered God's will.
On the other hand, both liberals and conservatives would concede that people have free will. So, logically, it is hard to see how homosexuality could be God's will. Indeed, homosexuality would rather appear to be the individual's will.

I think maybe it is...the world is overpopulated. I am gay and a Christian, and I didn't chose these feelings. I wish i were straight, and i fought the feelings a ;long time, but I think this is the way God made me.
