all mammals are similar: a mouse has the same organ systems in the same orientation as does a dog or a pig or a monkey. (contrary example: the kidneys of birds are very different from those of mammals, but all bird kidneys are very similar). mice have the same enzyme systems in their livers as do any other mammals, their brains are made up of the same cell lines as any other mammals, and, to define "mammal", they nurse their young with mammary glands that secrete a similar product to what any other mammal produces.
there are differences here and there (example: a mouse has far more protein in its urine than does a monkey), which is what makes a mouse and a monkey different creatures...but the differences are more subtle than you'd assume just by looking.

Hair, mammary gland, warmblodedness, four chambered heart, left arotic arch, diaphragm, eunucleated RBC--they all point to the fact that mouse is like any other mammal.
In terms of Dentition, habitat, presence of tail, quadripedality, vision, etc, mouse shows differences.

I don't think that a mouse can disprove anything - they don't have any language or cognitive thought skills.
