Well, if you can get together a demo, I'll take part. I resent every penny I pay the BBC, esp. since I hardly ever watch it.

There is an argument to say we fund other channels to an extent, i except that however, say the licence fee was scrapped from next year, would all terrestial and digital tv suddenly stop?
Do countries without a licence have no tv channels?
Are all the wildlife programes and drama on all other channels complete rubbish? (one of the main arguments we here pro funding the BBC)
I just cannot see any justification for every household in this country paying this massive amount any longer, it's not as though we have a choice. (almost)
I can't imagine the hassle people get who choose not to have a tv, they must be checked up on constantly and treated like a criminal.
I have Sky because it gives me what i want when i want, it's expensive but i can choose to chance my package to a cheaper one or stop it completely.
TV companies like SKY make millions and millions so we don't need this fee to ensure we have quality tv, the terrestial broadcasts are being switched off soon so shouldn't it be going down?
There are hundreds of channels available on freeview (ahem) digital and even via Sat big dishes so the numbers of viewers watching the BBC is constantly declining yet we are paying more and more.
Mmmm, how does that work then?

the BBC makes £millions every year from the sale of TV shows abroad and DVD sales, etc.
just stop buying a TV license, or get rid of the TV. thats the only way to protest. the license is little more than an entertainment tax for a left wing political agenda.

TV Licensing.
You need a TV licence to use any television receiving equipment.Such as a TV Set,set-top boxes, video or DVD recorders, computers or mobile phones to watch or record programmes as they are being shown on TV.No place does it say the licence money is soley for the BBC.
Sky TV is funded same as ITV through ads.The subsciptions you pay are a bonus to them,no out cry about this.Quality of programmes? The Worst Christmas of My Life shown tonight on BBC absolutely brilliant,2 top films,as well.TV licence fee roughly £3.00 per week, not even the cost of 2 pints of beer,or 20 fags.168
hours entertainment per week for £3,not a bad deal.Cost of 1 film from Blockbusters £3.50 per night.I know which is the best deal.
Also what about Skys Premier Plus?I pay for Sky sports but if i want to watch Prem Plus matches its another £8 per match. Is this fair? After all the cameras are allready at the grounds,no matter how many people subscribe.I do not object to license fee,but i do object to this extra subscription levied by Sky.Why not focus your energy towards Sky to get their subscription fees down.
