Well, I am not a dog lover and I am the one that they always try to hump! It is annoying and embarrassing for the person on the receiving end of the red rocket. It makes it uncomfortable. May I suggest that you put the dog outside or in a room when you have company over?

Very simple Tell the dog no and mean it. If you wimp out the dog takes over as top dog and does as dogs do. If you are forceful and assertive and take over as top dog, then just tell the dog "no" and the dog stops and does not do that again. Watch the "Dog Whisperer" and see how this works.
Option two is to ask what kind of perfume/cologne they wear and tell them "It sure attracts the dogs don't it"

You need to have long talk with your dog. Explain to him that it's immoral to just give it up like that. Tell him to save himself for marriage. Tell him you don't know where your friends have been anyways. Threaten him with a neuter if he doesn't stop. Good Luck!

just learned this i puppy obedience class, and it's the same for a jumping dog. Give them a good hard smack on top of their head and say "off". It won't hurt them,,,their skulls are hard as a rock, and they learn quickly.

If the dog is a pitbull, I would tell my friends to let him finish.

I would put my dog up in another room or try to hold them.
