You might try this in the law section, but I'll give it a go---i.e. you're in trouble, you don't have money to hire a lawyer etc, no one will charge you to have a pro bono lawyer, not the state or the lawyer. Also, if you request a fast trial or hearing, you won't be refused to your right of quick justice. I think that's it.

It's from the Magna Carta which is a document signed by King John of England in 1215.

Right is used in the sense of correct, not in the sense of human rights. Thus right or justice are basically the same. The King, at this time, was the judge and jury in any major case. He decided what was right and dispensed justice.

The King is promising the nobles (peasants didn't count in 1215) that he will not sell justice (such as taking a bribe), he will not delay justice, and he will not refuse justice. Essentially that he will be a fair judge.

Well, if you simplify it, it could read, "To no one will we sell, refuse or delay justice." I would take that to mean that nothing will stand in the way of every person receiving the justice due to them. They won't take bribes, or keep people waiting for it or ever refuse it to anyone.

Hi,
I believe this means that justice is free of charge, and it will not be refused, and justice will be given without delay. That is my interpretation of it, hope it helps!

It means we will sell no on justice or right, we will not deny anybody right or justice. It means you can't sell justice or right and you can't deny to give them to someone.

It means we will make sure everyone gets fairness and justice, and we won't deny anyone and we won't let anyone bribe us to influence what we consider justice.
