I had to change often 2 times every hour for the first week after I had my kids and you have woman who have normal bledding. Doctors recommend to take iron if this happends just to make sure you dont become anemic.

This form of bleeding is called the "LOCHIA". It happens after a woman gives birth and it can happen for up to 6 weeks. She doesnt have to bleed heavily the whole time and some women have it for shorter periods.
Usually the first blood in the first two weeks is the most heavy and its just the uterus shedding all the material it built up while carrying baby for 40wks. After it goes away, usually the monthly menstruation will go back to normal.

A woman bleeds for several weeks after giving birth. (The exact length of time varies from woman to woman and birth to birth.)
Some bleed more than others, but it is generally much heavier (at first, anyway) than a menstrual period.
A mensrual period happens when a woman's body sheds the uterine lining that it had prepared in case she got pregnant.
Obviously, that isn't what's happening after she has a baby, since she DID get pregnant. =)
Instead, it's shedding the much thicker lining that supported the baby and kept it alive for nine months.
Post-partum bleeding (after giving birth) is painless, and gradually diminishes util it is no heavier than a normal period.

there is post partum bleeding for about 4-6 weeks. It's not a period and can take some time for that to return to normal. If you have a c-section there is still some bleeding though not as much as with a vaginal birth.

after a woman has a baby, she will bleed for about 4 weeks (not constantly the whole time) but it will last that long before it stops usually. the first few days it will be almost like a period but its not. its her body getting back to normal.

okay...after a woman has a baby, all that uterine lining and tissue needs to vacate so she can resume her normal cycle. she'll bleed for a couple of weeks after, then it will stop and she will eventually have a monthly period just like before.

Yes, you bleed (or at least I did) quite a bit after having a baby. It doesn't matter if it is a vaginal or cesearan birth. The flow is called lochia. It is the uterus and everything inside repairing itself and shedding the excess "stuff" left.
