Can anyone give me a...........?

rough "guess"-timent on what it will cost to have a blown head gasket fixed on a 1989 Mazda 626? Its the 4 door sedan with standard transmission. Also, how long does it take to repair this type of problem? Thx

Price range $800~$1200 at a shop and takes 4-5 business days. 1day to take off-2 days head rebuilt at machine shop-1-2 days to install and test.

Go to auto zone, buy gaskets 40-50 dollars and ask the guy to show you which bolts to take out and change the gasket yourself. Not much trouble and save a load of money
