This is a good time to point out that you should ALWAYS retain a copy of your W-2's and tax returns and any other supporting documentation for the stuff you are claiming on your tax returns for the year, and you should keep them for at least 3 years (better if you keep them for 5).

The only place where you can get a copy of your W-2 is from the employer. If the lender is willing to accept it, you could request a transcript of your 2004 tax return from the IRS. It will show the total compensation you earned for the year that was reported on your tax return. If you didn't file a tax return for 2004, you're out of luck and you could have other problems besides getting your loan held up. You may be receiving a notice from the IRS soon that you did not file a return and you may owe tax.

You should have a copy of it with your tax return for 2004. Casual Male is supposed to keep all employee records on file for ever. They should be able to provide you with a copy I'd try calling back again ask to speak to the person in charge of payroll. On a long shot try calling the payroll person at unlimited outlet!

You should have a copy of it with your copy of your tax return for that year. Or you can get a copy directly from the current owner. You can also get a copy of your Federal tax return for 2005 from the IRS.
