coins minted for circulation, not really. the mint has special mint sets it coins and gold and silver coins, they will go up in value

There are some mint errors for those years of different denominations that are worth more than face. However other than that, only proofs and collector items from the mint have more value than face. I don't collect error coins so buy a coin magazine, or a Red Book. You can also try putting error coins into a search engine like Yahoo and check it out yourself.
