Man, people like racial motivated questions. Why? There is nothing wrong with it, but it's nothin' new...

I think it's because many people don't know who they are except in contrast to others. Answering racially motivated questions allows them to define themselves, for better or for worse.

I hate racial motivated questions, I truly don't know why. If people can't see beyond their own insecurities, then it's not my problem.

I think that people have a lot of internal conflict concerning race related issues. Asking them questions about it offers them the option to think about it deeply and to interact with others about their internal ideas.
