Is anyone else as nauseated as I am about Daron Malakian get to sing more vocals in Mesmerize/Hypnotize? I mean, yeah, a one-liner every now and then is OK, but in BYOB, right before the "BLAST OFF!!!" (which is OK for him to sing), he started singing the chorus after Serj, and he sounds like some little skinny nerdy Asian kid who jumped on the ******* stage, grabbed the mic from Serj and tried to be cool! I think Serj should stay lead vocals, it shouldn't be half and half, that voice to too whiny to adjust to, especially after I've come to love Serj's vocal work on the previous albums, I didn't want there to be less! Anyone else nauseated?

When they harmonize, it sounds really good. Daron is also good a "scream singing" IE the bit in BYOB. However, When he sings alone, like in "lonely day" it's a very sad departure from the System we all know and love. If we wanted to hear emo music, we'd listen to MTV.

I I believe that Daron is actually a great singer and I am glad to hear him contributing more. Serj is good too but I think Daron compliments well and his voice is better for some of the parts

yeah hes not a great singer. i think serj should sing & daron should play guitar. thats it
