Yes, an ectopic pregnancy would give you a positive pregnancy test. Ectopic pregnancies cause pain in the abdomen from the baby growing in the falopian tube, which is not big enough to support a pregnancy. If you think that you have an ectopic pregnancy, you need to get some medical attention. It could rupture the tube.

not all the time.. if your worried about having an eptopic pregnancy GET TO THE HOSPITAL STAT!!! That is a life or death emergency.. dont fool around trying to guess.. its better to go to the hospital then to sit at home wondering and then waking up dead the next day..
