We're travelling down there and hope not to have to carry down a bunch of cigarettes. Also, can you get Marlboro Light Menthols and Camel Lights in Mexico fairly easily?

Camels are an import from the United States of America, and will cost you only slightly less than here, but minus all the expensive U.S.A. and/or state taxes.
Mexican Branded Marlboro, is about 1.25 per pack in the border areas like Tijuana and Ciudad Juarez. They do not offer special discount prices on cartons in Mexico. So just multiply your per pack price X 10. You should find them much cheaper than that outside of the border areas.
There are no Mexican branded menthol or 100's cigarettes. So, what I said about Camel applies to ALL menthol and 100's.

The last time I was down there (about a year ago) a carton of Marlboro Lights was $18 USD. Don't know about the availablility of light menthols or Camels, but did notice the Marlboro Lights were just a tad bit stronger than they are in the US. Hope this helps, and have a safe trip!

Yeap... Marlboro Light Mentols and Camel Lights are easily found in Mexico. In non-tourist areas (that is, the real Mexico) a cigarrette 20-pack costs about $20.00 MXP (approx 2 dollars). But if you buy it in a tourist area it would cost about 30 - 40 MXP (3 - 4 USD)

About double the average US price due to less taxes. Buy in the local supermarkets if possible. Like in the US the hotels and convenience stores will be a ripoff.

Isn't there's going to be a raising of the tax in cigarettes and soda's? whatever the prize is, take 4 more pesos because i think that is how much approx.they are raising it.

Price in Mexico is about the same as here. I suggest taking your own....they have a different taste down there. My friend said he would never go without his own again......don't know what it is, but just different. He hates them there!!!!!
