Cheaply made version of Abercrombie. AE clothes are for preppy little teeny boppers. I wore it in High School, I haven't been in that store for more than 5 years now...

As someone who just recently left the AE/A&F phase, I can say that I appreciate all the good American Eagle did for me in my teenage years. I liked the vintage look when it first came out back in like '02 I think it was, and the preps made it okay for guys to wear flip flops ('03). I like American Eagle Outfitters. I think it's better than A&F. I don't support them, and I have never really because of what they stand for--"moose, ice hockey, chivalry, and group sex." Rock on AEers!
I now shop at Banana Republic and Nautica and Ralph Lauren. It's more adult, but fun too.

They are sooo overpriced and not worht it! They are cheaply made and you can find many of the same clothes at a cheaper store for less than half the price! Aeropostale has pretty good qulatity clothes, which are very similar to American Eagle's clothes, and they are usually at a low price or on sale!!

The people who work there always treat me like an idiot when I go in there because I don't wear their clothes. My sister loves them and so I buy her the stuff on sale (3.99+ rack). I personally think their clothes promote conformity. After I go in AE a always bolt for the nearest Hot Topic store.:)

Uh I think they're pretty cool. Kind of a wannabe cheap abercrombie but hey who cares. The less money I spend the better. I think the models are hot though. And AE shoes and sweatpants last forever.

Everyone says they're a rip-off of Abercrombie but so are all preppy stores. It doesn't really matter because they're cheaper and I don't care that much about clothes.
