Going around the item in the bag, you tuck the tissue AROUND the item by putting your hand in the middle of sheet- the corners will then stand up as the middle of the piece of tissue is pushed into the bag. Use several whole sheets to get that "pointy" effect. Hope that helps.

Ah yes, the old "pretty packaging" quandary.
Here's what I do. Take one or two sheets of the tissue paper and jam them down in the bottom of the bag, if the item is on the small side. This will provide a base so that the item doesn't sink all the way down to the bottom. Then I take the item and place it in the center of TWO pieces of tissue paper that are laid together so that there are 8 points, so one will be quarter turned against the other. Then I bring all the points together and since the item is in the center (or now bottom since you are holding the points together), it will go in the bag first, and the peaks will stick out the top of the bag.
Good luck! I know you can do it!

1. Fold the tissue in half (you want it to be tall enough to stick out) – so depending on your bag you may have to do this horizontally or vertically. Place it on the table in front of you open end on top, fold side on the bottom.
2. With the fold side at the bottom, fold 1/3 of the paper to the back and 1/3 to the front. The tissue will be a flat rectangle with three folds at the bottom that make a "Z."
3. Place the tissue in your bag, folded side to the bottom. Add your gift to the middle section. The top part should peek out nicely.

okay, I will try to verbally demonstrate. First you should put a crumpled sheet at the bottom first - then your gift You take one sheet of tissue and hold in the center of the paper with your thumb and pointer. Lift the sheet quickly (snap it). Place the part you are holding at the bottom of the gift bag - the points are left outside of the bag! - do that about 3 or 4 more times until the bag is filled with pretty pointed topped tissues. DIfferent colors or patterns look esp. pretty. Voila - a pretty package!
Happy wrapping and merry Christmas!

Grab the center of the tissue and snap it back. It will create a bit of a cone shape then stick the cone tip into the back and allow the ends to loosly top out of the bag, Do this with about 3 or 4 sheets to create a wonderful look- and hide the gift.

Lay 2-3 different sheets together, perhaps different colors that match the bag...put your finger in the very center, then pick it up and fold it around your arm, kinda like an arrangement of flowers. Fold the points of the paper out, then pull the handles together w/ some pretty curly ribbon!! Good luck, and Merry Christmas! God Bless!
