I would recommend takeing a trip out to Goa to have a look at what you can buy for your budget. You also can have a house custom built includeing land and full building costs and everything else it entails starting from £150000.
But it is becoming a good place to buy a house as it is going to become a hotspot like Spain.

goa is growing economically so if you buy now you are sure to get a worth whille investment. I am going to goa on the 2nd of january. I had to change my flight from the 30th dec because of an increased terror alert. You may want to wait for this to dye down as this may affect the value. Also I am staying in a friends appartment and she said it is availiable to buy for £18000!! I love goa and would love to live there click on to goa world.com to find out more about the place. happy house hunting

Seems you don't know anybody in Goa and maybe you have never been in India before ? That's very risky. Go there first of all, meet people, see for yourself how it is and find out if you want to buy or not. Be careful. Good Luck.
