I love bands like ok go, hot hot heat, the shins, LOVE red hot chili peppers, cake, flickerstick, franz ferdinand, plain white tees, the cardigans, beatles......but i also love hearing other bands and new songs.

under the genre of music i like and bands i love, do you have any suggestions of bands i should try listening to? and also good songs by bands too.

Try Belle and Sebastian, and if you're into retro sounding stuff, try Of Montreal.

More mainstream stuff like Led Zeppelin and the Doors are also good too.

well if it is real alternative you are talking about then i would try system of a down or nirvana. if its that soft rock like fall out boy or taking back sunday or greenday then just look up emo on google
