Shhh..it's on a "need to know" basis. Apparently the President doesn't even need to know.

These things take time to get straightened out. Liberating a people who don't want to be liberated is not an easy task. I'll take a stab at your question. I think the plan is confusion and deception. One thing is for sure, unless congress pulls the plug on funding this fiasco, we'll be there at least another two years. We're not winning, but we're not losing, the latest word on the war from our great President. Suffer the fools of the world.

Republicans never had a plan beyond the initial invasion and still have none

that's why Americans are beginning to turn things over to Dems

THE PLAN IS TO CHANGE STRATEGY AS HAPPENS IN ALL WARS, DEPENDING ON THE CONDITIONS ON THE GROUND, AND WIN. NOT CUT AND RUN....NOT RUNNING HOME TO MOMMY FOR MILK AND COOKIES. IT IS VERY HARD. THATS WHY THEY CALL IT WAR. THE STRATEGY OF THE GOVERNMENT IS PLAIN FOR ALL TO SEE EVERY DAY. ITS NOT A PLAN TO WIN ON "YOUR" TIME FRAME. THIS IS A LONGTERM STRUGGLE. IT ISNT A MINI-SERIES WHERE YOU SEE THE CONCLUSION IN A MATTER OF DAYS OR WEEKS. MOST AMERICAN ATTENTION SPANS PEEK AT ABOUT TWO WEEKS SO EVEN DOING WHAT IS RIGHT TAKES LONGER THEN MANY HAVE THE CAPACITY TO ACTUALLY ASSIMILATE FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME BEFORE THEIR EYES GLAZE OVER.

Why not ask what the Dem's plan is? Oh, wait that's right, they don't really need one since they already won control of Congress in the election.

My personal view is to stay the course, or it will be percieved as a sign of weakness.

you sure do like mudslinging don't you? How would we know? Most on the people on Y A are not politicans, or make any government decisions!!! With all the brains you have go jump over the White House gate and ask Bush yourself!!! I mean really we citizens don't control the government and can't answer your stupid question, because we don't make any major decisions or decide the plans in Iraq!

they simply dont have one. and stay the course really doesnt work, as out idiot, retarded president is even beginning to see. it doesnt make us weak to leave. staying makes us look incompetant and stupid, and we look like the world bully. time to leave.
