do you think they still would? i was told that it comes from back in the day when men were in prison, and wore their pants below their butt (calls saggin'), it meant they were someone's b*tch, . so do guys think it's attractive to wear your pants that way now?

I remember when this came to be popular back when I was a Freshman in high school about 14 years ago! I can't believe guys are still wearing their pants that way! Obviously the guys do it because they think it's cool. I think the only way they'd STOP wearing their pants that way is if it was on a favorite TV program or some kind of news program about why men really wear their pants that way. Otherwise I don't think they care.

Men also wore baggy pants in prison so they could not escape. The prison would issue overly large pants without a belt so that the escapee would have to run AND hold his pants, thus slowing him down. I hate to see brothers sag.

I've never heard that about men wearing their pants like that in prison years ago but I suppose it could be true. I think guys wear them that way now because they think they look cool. I think it's sloppy looking. Give me a guy with a nice pair if tight jeans on any day!!

lol! I'm always tempted to run up behind them and pull them all the way down whenever I see people wearing their trousers like that!
I once saw a young teenage girl wearing her extremely baggy trousers that way but she had to do this weird funny walk with her hands in her pockets just to keep them up...Maybe I'm just getting too old to understand teen culture anymore...

I've heard that too. I don't think its attractive at all. especially when they have to waddle with their legs out so their pants dont fall down.

no its disgusting. they look like blobs of pants. they dont have to wear tight pants but they should wear pants that fit. i dont think theyd stop though if they found out.

That'e very true, I think men who do that are unattractive. I think they know what it means, and just think it's cute, or makes them appear intimidating.

I've heard that too. How it became popular among "straight" guys IDK. But.. I think it looks better than sum tight grandpa hiwaters..
