It's either going to be the Suns, Mavericks, or Clippers in the finals for the West.

Despite Dirk Nowitzki's ankle injury (which may keep him out of a couple of games depending on its severity), I believe that it may be too early to tell if the Dallas Mavericks can return to the NBA Finals.

However, if they can get past the Suns and Spurs in the NBA Playoffs, I feel that they would have a great chance to make it back to the Finals.

Hope this helps.

The Mavericks are the most talented team in the NBA. They will go to the finals and win the championship. Stern can not keep them from it forever.

They have the ability to do it. But I really think it was a little bit of a fluke last year. It's going to be tough to repeat it. I really think they will make it the Western Conference Finals again, and if they play San Antonio or Phoenix could lose it there.

No, San Antonio is gonna take of business this year and they will be in the finals! Although both teams will let A.I. know that the west is won with discipline not "PRACTICE MAN, WE TALKIN' BOUT PRACTICE MAN", if you don't practice in this division boy, you'll be back in the east watching Georgetown Hoyas games!

No. Too much competition in the west. They blew their one chance last year. It will be the Suns or Spurs.
