it's very possible that they win the rest of their games with the way the are playing now, the tricky part is that the jets, denver, jacksonville, and cincinnati all need to loose one more game and even then i'm not sure what would happen if it came down to a tie breaker.........good news is that jacksonville will probably loose one of their next two games, hopefully cincy will give denver another loss, then pittsburgh could give cincy another loss........so if all goes according to plan then the only other problem would be the bills, but they play the jets, so it's likely they'll loose then the jets would get one wild card spot, and hopefully the steelers could get the second, but like i said, not sure what's gonna happen when it comes to tie breaker time.

Not a chance. The AFC is way too competitive. And the Steelers have been too inconsistent this season. It's like they were struck by lightening, even from the start of training camp. They may make a slight recovery with the games left this season, but there are so many other teams with better records. Maybe next year for them.

Best they can finish is 9-7. Unless Denver, Jacksonville, Cincy, and the Jets (plus there are several other teams also at 7-7) all fail miserably these last 2 weeks Pittsburgh doesn't have a chance. So I'd say their playoff hopes are slim at best.

Not gonna happen. if they where in the NFC, they might be able to overcome that 1-6 start. In the AFC you need 10 wins to get a wild card birth. I remember a couple of years back ago 10-6 wasn't even good enough for the Dolphins to make it.

no...the best they can do is 9-7. there are gonna be quite a bit of teams that are going to miss the playoffs even with a 10-6 record

I think that they will be just short of the wild card spot. Or they will lose a tie breaker with somebody. Either way they are out of the playoffs. Go Chargers and LT.
