yes you can with just your Greek ID card. No passport required and has nothing to do with the Schengen accord.

Yes you can. Citizens of the European Union and the European Economic Area do not need a passport to enter the United Kingdom; a government-issued ID card is sufficient. As has already been said, the Schengen Agreement bears no influence on whether a passport is needed to enter the UK. As the UK currently does not issue ID cards to its citizens, the British must carry passports to travel within the EU/EEA. You, as a Greek, however, may travel to the UK with a government-issued national ID card.

Yes you can. You don't need your passport to enter the UK if you are a EU citizen. This doesn't have anything to do with the Shengen treaty which effectively Britain never signed and that allows travel between member countries without passport or id card.
I travel all the time to the IK and my passport is not needed.

The same applies to Switzerland.

So long as your ID card is a government issued photo ID and has more time to run that the length of your stay, you should be OK, check with your airline to be sure

No, the UK is not party to the Schengen Agreement, so a passport is required when travelling into or out of the UK.

No Britain never signed the agreement (with an unpronounceable name) that means you can travel through borders without passports. Its great between Spain and Portugal though, there is nothing on the border you just sail through. Sorry that doesn't help you. Merry Christmas!!!
