Why is my finger green under my ring?

i just got it yesterday
is there any way to stop this and is this bad for my finger?

Well, is it gold 10kt 14kt or gold filled silver or plated...anyway, if its real then the green would be caused by the acidity in ur system probaby higher the usual or if they are filled or plated rings then thats becuz they are cheap rings made of a metal ....oHH,and copper will turn ur ur skin green almost forgot about that one

not really bad but it might be too tight
