It is not the dark side of the moon...Rather, more correctly it is the Far Side of the Moon, i.e., the side that is always away from us here on the Earth.
When the Moon gets between the Earth and the Sun, the Far side surface is fully illuminated by the Sun but we cannot see it
being illuminated - we are on the other side.

The view of the moon we have from earth is constantly in flux, that's why we have different cycles (full, half, etc).

i'm no longer particular what you propose by technique of this question. How does an aspect of the moon face faraway from the moon? If what you propose is does the fringe of the moon that continuously face faraway from the earth proceed to be darkish then the answer i believe isn't any. The moon is a useless body in area and that i believe that it has no rotation of its personal. Nope. It's well lit when it's facing the sun. Its day/night cycle is about 28 earth days, and during its "day" it's getting sunlight.
