Serious answers would be nice but I'm expecting too much there! There are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on Earth. This is believed by most boffins. If that is true - surely, we can't be the only one with vehicles on our speck of dust. So that is why I believe in UFO's but never had the luck to witness one.

If it is an object, flying and you don't know what it is, by definition it is a UFO. The problem we have here is a failure to communicate. Far too many people can not distinguish between an Unidentified Flying Object and an Unidentifiable Flying Object.

Virtually everyone has seen something they can't identify. It may be too far away, too dark or too anything else. Just because you can't identify it doesn't mean someone else can't. And as far as that goes, if no satisfactory explanation is ever established that doesn't mean it is an alien space craft. Of course it doesn't mean it isn't one either.

In one way I am with you 100% if I understand what you are saying. I find it very arrogant of some people to assume they are the only life in this unmeasured, perhaps unmeasurable universe.

Good evening, BTW, yes I have seen things I can't identify in the sky and I am a retired USAF Master Sergeant with 22 years active duty along with an additional decade involved with military aircraft as a civilian. I have more than a passing interest in things that fly.

I think i have but i am not sure. One time i was driving home to los angeles from arizona, it was about 1:30 am and was about 30 miles past phoenix. I was driving on the freeway when i notice some lights ahead of me i tought they were some sort of towers with those blinking red lights, except the lights were bright and not blinking. I drove for about 5 more minutes then all of a sudden they just scrambled and faded into the sky. I dont knwo if what the hell i saw or wheter it was a UFO's, but it was something unexplaineble. And i dont think were alone in the universe.

There have been two occasions in the city I live in where UFOs have been seen by large numbers of people, one of the witnesses was a police man. I don't know if ET was in them but they remain unexplained. My brother also saw a very strange purple light above a cloud while at a wedding party that was later reported in the local press, no rationale explanation could be given.

Ask a question like this and you get it in the neck, shame really, I think it is more to do with peoples embarrassment when confronted with questions about the possibility of life elsewhere.
It is strange how religion is accepted which, to my mind a `god` is far less probable than life from somewhere out there. I think that we should be prepared to be very surprised by a life-form from space considering how different we are from the animals on our own planet. Did you see the documentary regarding the Belgian airforce`s encounter with a flying unknown, food for thought.

A couple years back, I was in Okinawa. Me and my buddy were drinking beer (we were on our first ones) and it was during the time that big comet was going over, we could of sworn we saw this orb flying next to it, and then it would go infront and around it. It was red and had a distinct movement from the coment.

UFO? Who knows, but it was deffinatly not from earth.

I think we can agree whol hartedly that there is no shred of a doubt that ET exist out there some where, in our own galaxy?, i think so, possibly thousands of different civilizations.

I've never seen a UFO/ET vehicle, but i think they exist, and probably have visited Earth in the past.
