if you really want to play in the NBA, don't just stand there go and play basketball!!! you know what they say practice makes perfect... i think for a nba player is like this: at age 12-13 he's got a perfect shot, at 15-16 he can really jump, at 17-18 work hard on the court and into the gym, 18 he is hoping some good college will notice him ... so it's 85% work, 15% luck. By the way, i'm sure that the NFL is harder, but there are a lot more players comparing to the NBA.

Well the NFL is harder on you if you play in it but the NBA is harder to get into I think. In basketball you have to be tall for most postions its really a tall mans game. THe NFL has small players that are fast and big players that are strong some Defense Ends are tall. Even a punter and kicker that can be overall weak and slow. So you got more chances and usually a job for everyone to fit into to match your body and size. NBA its all tall and you have to be able to jump. They dont have a Punter on every NBA team. And the team is one third the size. So I say it would be harder for you to make the NBA than the NFL..

are you kidding me??? the NFL is called smash mouth football for a real good reason, the injuries that come with football by far are more dangerous than any I've ever seen with NBA, not to take away from the NBA injuries or that it aint a very tough game, I worked with Kenyan Martin when he started for the Bearcats here in cinti,oh and I followed his career for a while after he went pro, I been watching football for about 3 yrs now because of curent BF and my grandmas a reg. nurse an she too says NFL is way harder an they even have a shorter life span than a NBA player and even are considered too old to play sooner than NBA players are.

Hello!!people. There are 12 players on each NBA team x 30 ='s 360. There are 52 players on each NFL team x 32 ='s 1,664
Basketball has 2 draft rounds. ( Only the Elite )
Football has 7 draft rounds.
Call me crazy but I think he has a better chance of making the NFL. More postions and options overall.

the way i see it is, nba players can play 82 games, some back to back
but nfl players play 16 games in 17 weeks, and they get all beat up and tired from that
so it makes sense to say nfl is way harder

The NFL I think is the hardest When Basketball and Baseball players go to training camp they bring there suntan lotion and sweat pants and flip flops, Football players have there families worried if they will come back alive.

umm....nba and nfl are two different sports and they both have their own sets of levels. Basketball needs lots of endurance, quickness, efficiency in shots. Football needs overall strength, power, and theres a lot more strategies in football. They are both different sports and they are both hard to play it depends how you look at it.
