Is it so good that you would park yourself on a neighbor's lawn and sing "we won't go until we get some!" ?

Hahaha, I've wondered the same thing. For some reason, "figgy pudding" doesn't sound very good, and not leaving til you've got some seems a little rude and opposite of the Christmas spirit, but hey it must be delicious then!

There is such a thing. Figgy is just a brand of pudding.( It is actually called Fig) It was really popular at the time this song was created.
