I give it an 8; it is a well acted film, despite the old "prostitute with a heart of gold" approach to it

Stars ar Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. It is the movie that made Julia famous!
She plays a hooker (nude scenes are a stand-in actress) who meets a millionare who is bored with his life. They try to keep it business when he hires her, but they end up caring about each other. It's a very funny and touching movie. Julia also learns to become a lady and that is really fun to watch as she learns table manners and how to dress properly.
Anyway, most of the movie is really hard to believe as far as it actually happening in real life, but it is worth seeing. the ending is great too.
Lastly, her best friend "Kit" is hilarious. The two of them are wonderful in this movie! I would give it atleast an 8 on a scale of 1-10. It's a classic that most people have seen.

Pretty Woman rules. It is about a prostitute who meets a rich man and falls in love with him. On a scale of 1-10, I think it is a 9. It is a perfect movie, with good humor and romance, but it lacks any action.

On a scale of 1-10 I give it a 9. It was a great movie. It is about a hooker who is really a sweet girl. SHe is hired by a very rich man to be his for a while. She lives in luxury for a while and gets spoiled. Then they fall in love. It is a great story. I can watch it over and over.

I've never seen sweet 16, but I have seen 16 candles and that was great I mean I'll take Jake Ryan any day. Molly usually ended up with some pretty hot guys. I love a lot of the John Hughes films though.

I can't believe you're a girl. Every girl in the world has seen and loved this movie. This is the role that made Julia Roberst the biggest female movie star of modern times.

I really loved it. I thought it was funny for one, but Julia Roberts played an excellent role...
Not dramatic, just funny to watch here and Richard get along like they did.
Little bit romantic.. but how romantic can falling in love with a prostitute be- no matter how good her heart is?
I give it an 8!

Heck yes, it is. It is a classic. Julia Roberts is a prostitute who Richard Gere inadvertently picks up (he was honestly just trying to get directions) and has a good time with her and winds up falling in love. It's a feel good Cinderella story that is hilarious!

It's a Cinderella story about a street prostitute that lucks up on a very rich man. She's very beautiful, he's handsome, they become attracted to each other, he introduces her into his world, his lawyer finds out, wants some of that, a fight ensues between lawyer and the man, the hooker and the man break up, and then he has second thoughts about breaking up, decides he wants her in his life regardless of her backgroud, picks her up in his limo and they live happily ever after.
