Regardless of your choice, the internal components determine the speed and power of the PC. When you say speed and power it makes me think that you're going to be gaming, video editing, dvd ripping, or some other high performance application. Make sure to have the fastest processor on the market:

Intel Core 2 Duo Quad Core -- must have
At least 2GB of RAM
10,000 or 15,000 RPM hard drive (WD Raptor or Maxtor Atlas)
Dope Graphics card (Maybe Radeon X1950XT or Geforce 7950GT)

Building your own will always be the best option for performance PC's. Check out Alienware if you're serious about speed and performance without the worry of cost.

The Dell XPS line is one of the best out in the market.

Another company you can consider buying would be Alienware. Their pc's are highly customizable and they come with all the speed and power you would ever need. The only downside is cost - anywhere from 3000 - 5000 dollars -, but given the fact that cost is not a problem you should consider buying from this company.

In the same league as Alienware would be Voodoo pcs. Their pcs are also highly customizable, but they don't attract regular customers. They specialize in high performance for pc enthuisiasts who would like to get as much power out of their system as possible. Price is their downside - anywhere from 2000 - 7000 dollars.

Up to 3 terabytes of hard disk space - Whoo Hoo!

Look at one totally loaded! Only $19,000!

If cost is no object, call Dell and have them build what you want.

MERRY CHRISTMAS and have a nice day.

Thank you very much, while you're up.
