I meant after a year working there (part time without benefit), I did the work like full time, but received no benefit, no review. I am not sure if I will have a raise over there. How would you handle it if you don't see a raise or review in the coming year? Should you talk to your boss about it, how would you say it?

I did get a raise as a PT secretary's aide a decade ago, which was part of a workstudy school program. It was only a quarter up from $5.25 to $5.50. I would talk to your boss about a raise, or change your status from PT to FT. I would talk to him calmly and rationally about your work status and how much you've done. Go for it and good luck!

Yes you should approach your boss about it or it will keep eating at you. I would suggest going to your boss (play a little dumb) and just ask him what is the company's policy on salary reviews / raises. From there, listen to his answer and if it is in your favor, the light bulb should go off in their head.

Good luck!

Yes, talk to your boss - doesn't sound unreasonable that you should get a raise.

Be prepared to present your case - the work you're doing, any extra things you've taken on. Ask if your work is satisfactory, and what you would need to do to get a wage increase.

Good luck.

You should find another job if you really don't like your job. Just try to do the best you can and you will be fine. Trust me.
