rock over rap?

does anyone dislike rap, and like rock better. me i like rock. if you do like rock whats your favorite band.

I love Rock. My favourite mainstream rock bands would be Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Killers, Rage Againt the Machine, A Perfect Circle, Tool and led Zepelin. I like a lot of indie rock and alternative rock though which I will list below.

I don't like rap. I prefer listening to Southern Rock like the Black Crowes, Molly Hatchet, .38 Special, Doobies, that little band from Florida and hard rock like Gn'R, Motley Crue, AC/DC, etc.

deftones,pantera,killswitch Engage,dry kill,Knowlyfe etc. And it goes on and on and on...But I do like rap to but not alot of it. I produce tracks with friends and there is a great musical prosses involved in it. And my friends hate the rape that raps about money hoes bling and all that bs. They right from there heart just like my friends in rock bands. So in conclusion I like all kinds of music and every genrea has somthing to like but rock will live in me for ever. ROCK ON

Rolling Stones. Longevity, classic rock tunes that will be around a lot longer then any rap music could think of being, and lots of live experience.

Hip-Hop/Rap is the best. Hinder and The All-American Rejects are good rock bands though.
