no. you can't get married while you're incarcerated.

I also believe that if it's OK for the straight community to get married while incarcerated then Yes, I think that it should be the same for any loving couple regardless of the sexual orientation.
I do have to admit though, I am glad I live in Canada because same-sex marriage is already legal here! I do feel for my American lesbian and gay friends that are still fighting for the right!

no inmates in a federal, peinteary can not legally marry. why would they in prision the other inmates would knock them off for gods sake. on the state level we dont know about that one.anyone in there right minds doing hard time with other inmates geeting married right--

Straight inmates get to marry in prison...they even get conjugal visits!
Rapists, murderers, thieves, purpetrators of all forms of violent and non-violent crimes are allowed to legally marry. What makes this any different?

What a stupid question. Most inmates are not gay. They have gay sex because many of them will never be with a woman again, so they go for what they can get. And almost none of them are in love. However, that does pose an interesting question. If inmates can marry, why can't gays?

I don't see why not, however I'm sure they would want to be out of prison first to marry in a church or city hall, or wherever else they want to beside prison.

hmmm I don't think so---but you never know-I say you should marry any person you want...some people get it confused with if you make gay marriage legal people are going to want to marry their dogs or pets next -and that is just all around stupid-
