This just happened and they rang my phone to get my confirmation this was okay. This is a lot easier and cheaper than my Cingular service was, no bills to pay or anything. I love it.

i have on a tracphone and all you do is when you run out of minutes just go get some more i did yesterday..and with mine i just went to add minutes and put in the code and with ina few i had them..and most of them work that way including virgin..you can also do that online when your phone is activated..and you would do that at theri website or they toll free# that is in the instuction manuel..and yes a prepaid phone is the best option for a teen like you
