Everytime I turn my computer off at night, i come the next morning, and its a time completely different. Its like 1:00 right now, but my clock says 7:00 at the year 9999, i keep changing it back, but it never stays. I dont get it. Please help

The coin battery on the motherboard in your computer may be dead. Replace it and it should be able to keep time again.

There is a small battery on the motherboard that controls the time so the time is still accurate even when your computer is off. Most likely, your battery is dead, so it will keep resetting the time. To replace it, find the watch battery on the motherboard that is about as big as a quarter and switch it out with a new one.

Change the battery for the BIOS, it also runs the clock.

You probably have a bad power supply box inside your machine..

Get a new power supply or get a new computer

I've heard of a "prank" virus if you want to call it that, that does this sort of thing. check this site for the prank, it should have a way to fix it if this is what you got. http://www.computerpranks.com/downloadable-pranks/

adjust it zactly at 12:00 and it wont get chenged

Most likely your mother board battery is dead.

get a watch. or just reset the time zone. make sure you have the correct one selected.

Some earlier windows versions had bugs with this. If you don't have windows xp, get it.
