Why are some people / businesses refering to the CHRISTMAS tree as a holiday tree? I think it's simple. If you celebrate CHRISTMAS, you put up a tree (if you like) because it is a CHRISTMAS tradition. That is why we call it a CHRISTMAS tree..... Why are people trying to change it to a holiday tree?

I am not bashing any other holiday... just wondering about the holiday tree. What if we started calling it the christmas menorah... wouldn't that be strange?

Because we have to be "politically correct" these days... but I am so tired of all the 'rights' of every other group being put before my rights as an American Christian...If others don't like the word CHRISTMAS, that's to bad! I I don't make a big deal about other peoples religion, race, creed....why can't they just leave us alone! And I will continue saying MERRY CHRISTMAS...CHRISTMAS TREE...I want to buy CHRISTMAS CARDS AND CHRISTMAS GIFTS AND A CHRISTMAS TREE! NOT holiday this and holiday that! HO...HO...HO AND MERRY CHRISTMAS! ;)

cuz some people have a problem with God and Jesus and try to kick them out of everything, like say "happy holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas."
