No.
You can be considered to be many things without feeling like you are those things.
And you can actually be many things without anyone ever seeing those tendencies in you.

As adults, we philosophize about issues such as this. People with high levels of awareness and privilege to higher education will convince each other that there is no separation between any two separate entities in the universe-- we are ONE.

BUT:

1) If we are one, then as a whole, we are the ONLY one and being a part of that only one, we ARE alone-- collectively!!!

2) We come into this world and exit precisely the same way--alone.

One IS the loneliest number.

Being alone is something impossible...
...and something possible!

A simple contradiction...but it is interestingly logical.

You can't be alone ,because; human is so much greater than we think, and in our minds there are many things which we don't understand. There are many different voices too...

...and every different voice is a different person.

You are alone, because of the same reason. Human is so much greater than we think and you will see yourself everywhere when you look carefully. All the things about you, if it is not about you, all the things are perceived by you and perceive is you! You perceive like yourself and only connection with outside is these senses....

...so all the world is perceived by you and you see all the things, all the people different : LIKE YOURSELF.

You are alone my friend, but look inside you will find us in there...

No, not at all. As a matter of fact...the opposite can be said as well. Someone who feels alone can be considered....well, not alone. Marilyn Monroe and Princess Diana come to mind as examples of my point, though I'm not sure what it is anymore....

(Does that make sense? I hope so.....)

No. I am perfectly happy living alone, and dating whoever and whenever I want, although I have
well-wishers that claim I need to get married or
have a room mate in order to not be alone.

No.
Being alone and being lonely are different.

I enjoy the opportunity of being alone.
I don't like to be lonely.

Feeling alone would be "lonely."

No and why do you feel alone when you have some people that find that odd?

2006-12-21 16:44:32 · answer #9 · answered by Anonymous · 1 0

Is it a state of mind, you're asking?

You can be in the midst of a crowd, and be LONELY.
But you cannot be ALONE.

So the distinction is between lonliness and aloneness.
